The poet lists the letters he has sent the Singopoulos and mentions news of literary interest. He describes his impressions from another theatrical performance by the Kotopouli company in Alexandria.

Cavafy informs Rica Singopoulo about the literary news of Alexandria, mentioning publications in the Othoni and the Ephimerida. He informs about the despatch of copies of Alexandrini Techni to Vaianos. Along with the copies, he also sends poems of his, so that they may be forwarded to Kostas Karyotakis. He kindly asks that she finds compositions by Mitropoulo based on his poems in a music shop of Athens; he comments on a theatrical performance based on the play “L’ombra” by Dario Niccodemi, which he attended in Alexandria.
