         Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,
           Σ’ έγραψα χθες και προχθές.

           Ξαναδιαβάζοντας το δεύτερο
      γράμμα σου της 15ης Φεβρ.
      σημειόνω τα όσα γράφεις σχετικώς
      με την επιθυμία σου να τερματισθεί
      αυτή η μακρά διαμονή σου στο
      χωριό. Λες ότι τέλη Φεβρουαρίου
      ή αρχές Mαρτίου θα είσαι εδώ. Kαλά,

      Aλέκο μου· αλλά για να επιτευχθεί
      αυτό δεν πρέπει να προβείς εις
      ενέργειάν τινα; Σ’ επαρουσιάσθη
      ευκαιρία να δόσεις μια νύξιν εις
      τον Δρακίδη ότι επιθυμείς την
