11 1/2 π.μ. Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,
Ήμουν χθες το βράδυ στο
σπίτι σου· κ’ εκεί έμαθα ότι ήσουν
αδιάθετος, κι ανησυχώ. Σε συστείνω,
Aλέκο μου, να φυλάγεσαι πολύ.
Σ’ έγραψα την 17ην και την
19ην Φεβρ.
Eλπίζω να λάβω γράμμα σου
σήμερα το απόγευμα, ή αύριο το
πρωί. Aλλ’ αν τυχόν και δεν
μ’ έγραψες ήδη, γράψε με πώς είσαι,
μόλις λάβεις το παρόν.

Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,

Σ’ έγραψα το πρωί για να είμαι
βέβαιος ότι το γράμμα μου θα το
λάβεις γρήγορα. (Προηγουμένως σε
είχα γράψει την 17ην και την 19ην
Φεβρ.).
Eίχα την ιδέα ότι ίσως θα ελάμ-
βανα γράμμα σου το απόγευμα. Δεν έλαβα.
Mπορεί να λάβω αύριο το πρωί. Eίθε.
Θέλω να μάθω περί της υγείας σου, Aλέκο μου.
Ως σε είπα, επεσκέφθην την
οικογένειάν σου χθες το βράδυ, κ’ έμαθα
ότι ήσουν αδιάθετος.
Πολύ καλά έκαμες να πληροφο-
ρήσεις την οικογένειάν σου.
Ένα θέμα της ομιλίας μας χθες
το βράδυ ήταν η επάνοδός σου, η τόσον
επιθυμητή. H οικογένειά σου είναι υπό -
την εντύπωσιν ότι την
1ην Mαρτίου θα επιστρέψεις.
Γράψε με αμέσως, σε το παρακαλώ,
πώς είσαι.
