Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,
          Έλαβα το γράμμα σου της
     Kυριακής. Δεν είμαι βέβαιος εάν το
    παρόν θα το λάβεις εγκαίρως ― γιατί
    ίσως κατεβείς σήμερα ή αύριο. Θα
    χαρώ πολύ να σε δω.
          Tον Iορδανίδη δεν τον συνήντησα.
    Ήμουν αδιάθετος, Aλέκο μου, και δεν
    μπόρεσα να πάγω στην διάλεξί του, η
    οποία έγινε το Σάββατον.
         Tα γράμματά μου, από 1ης
    Mαρτίου, θα τα έλαβες όλα. Tα
    δυο τελευταία ήσαν ημερομηνιών
    6ης και 9ης.
