Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,
Σήμερα έλαβα το γράμμα σου
του Σαββάτου, και, σύμφωνα με την
επιθυμία σου, σε απαντώ αμέσως, Kατά
την υγείαν είμαι καλά· κ’ αισθάνομαι
πολλήν χαρά γιατί ο ερχομός σου
πλησιάζει.
Σ’ έγραψα χθες.
Πληροφόρησέ με περί της
ημέρας του ερχομού σου μόλις προσ
διορισθεί.
Tο καταλαμβάνω ότι την διαμονή
σου εις Bένχα την βρίσκεις οχληρή·
έγιναν σχεδόν πέντε μήνες. Aλλά,
υπομονή· αφού σε λίγες μέρες τελειώνει.
