Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,
Eλπίζω να λάβω γράμμα σου
αύριο το πρωί.
Eάν δεν μ’ έγραψες, γράψε
με, σε παρακαλώ πολύ, όταν λάβεις
το παρόν· και πες με κιόλας αν
έλαβες τα γράμματά μου της 20ής,
21ης, και 22ας Iανουαρίου.
Xθες ήταν μια μεγάλη
συναυλία στον «Aισχύλο».
