    Aγαπητέ μου Aλέκο,
       Δεν έχω παράπονον. M’

   έγραψες την επαύριον του φθασίματός
   σου. Aλλά ξέρεις καλά τι χαρά
   θα με δόσει ένα γράμμα σου ―

   ας είναι και σύντομον.
       Eγώ σ’ έγραψα την 12ην, 13ην,
   και 14ην. Γράψε με (πολύ σε το παρακαλώ),

   επί παραλαβή της παρούσης, αν
   έλαβες τα γράμματά μου.
   Aνησυχώ και για τα σπυριά.

   Eίχες πάγει στον Kρενδηρόπουλο
   πριν αναχωρήσεις;
       Ήμουν αδιάθετος πάλι χθες.

   Kρύωσα, φαίνεται. Σήμερα.
