Cavafy’s collection containing 25 poems of the 1910-1915 period. Two pieces of paperboard are used as front and back covers. On the cover, the title: “C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1910-1915”, handwritten by the poet. The original date was “1914”, corrected to read “1915” in ink of a different colour. Inside, two blank sheets and then 25 broadsheets, all numbered by hand at top right of the recto; 24 of them are printed. The poem “Alexandrian Kings” handwritten on two sheets with page numbering “13α’, β'”. The verso of all broadsheets is blank, except for that of sheet 13α’ which bears a handwritten note by Cavafy. Handwritten cancellation and emendation in one of the poems (“Far Off”, sheet 23). The poems are followed by a blank sheet and a printed table of contents in chronological order, in two columns. The broadsheets were printed at two different printing houses (Kasimatis & Ionas and M. C. Fakos) and date to 1914 and 1915.
