Poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ7) comprising 69 poems on 76 loose printed broadsheets. Double-sheet of paperboard in lieu of cover, with the printed title “C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1916-1926” on its first page (the second date has been added by hand). A second double-sheet follows, the first page of which serves as the title page (the second date has been added by hand); the second page is blank; the last two pages contain the table of contents, arranged chronologically by year (1916-1926), with handwritten additions for the year 1926. A blank sheet follows, the 76 printed sheets, followed by one more blank sheet. The poems are numbered in print at top right, their numbering corrected in many instances by the poet. The sheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in Alexandria (one was printed at the Mitsanis printing house). Additional information regarding the year in which they were first printed (1920-1926) is mentioned in some cases.
