Handwritten note by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy on a postcard, on one side of which the author’s photographic portrait is printed. In a short text he explains that this is his most recent photograph. Of note is the use of English expressions in the flow of written discourse.

The item was located in the photographic collection of the Cavafy Archive and was moved, according to the new arrangement scheme, in the incoming family correspondence of Cavafy. Item GR-OF CA CA-SF02-S01-SS02-F20-SF002-0098 includes the corresponding envelope -according to the date indications on the mail rubber stamp, whence it is apparent that the card had been sent from France and most likely from Hyères.
