Handwritten note of thanks by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy from Hyères, France, on a postcard, regarding a photograph he received. Except for the first phrase, which is written in English, Paul uses Latin characters in writing the message. The card bears a postage stamp, mail service rubber stamps (Hyères, Alexandria) and recipient details. The indication “24Α” in noted in pencil.
