Handwritten letter by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy from Bellagio, Italy, according to the letterhead, on all sides of a bifolio. Extensive description of the trip he is making in Italy. He expresses his admiration for the places he visits and comments on the works of art he sees there (“Venus de Medici, Madonna della Sedie” etc.). He informs the poet about the impending trip schedule as well as of the identity and the status of the family he is accompanying. Of note is the use of French words and phrases in the flow of written discourse. (Bellagio)
