Regarding the dating of the item: Based on the information that Michail Rodas published in April 1930 (in the newspaper Eleftheron Vima) his impressions from Egypt, where he met with Cavafy (D. Daskalopoulos/ Μ. Stasinopoulou, O vios kai to ergo tou C. P. Cavafy, Athens 2002, p. 149) as well as on the reference to the publication of the study Stoicheiodis geografia tis Aigyptou. Fysiki, politici, ikonomiki kai istoriki (“Grammata” Publishing Company, Alexandria 1926) on the printed side of the sheet, it is possible to safely set time limits (c. 1930).
