Handwritten notes and short letters by Cavafy to Nikos and Eftychia Zelita, on seventeen parts of sheets of various sizes, cards and small pieces of paper. One side of some is blank. Date indications (“13/8/28”, “26 Feb. 926” and illegible note) on three of the sheets. Reference to the Grammata publishing house of Alexandria, to Cavafy’s collection (the Collection 1907-1915 is referred to by name) as well as the newspaper I Laiki Foni newspaper of Volos. The messages usually pertain to a meeting among them or some other sort of favour.

The item has been published in: D. Daskalopoulos, Eis ta perichora Antiocheias and Keryneias, Ikaros, Athens 2006, pp. 82-89. The author has dated some parts of the item on the basis of indications in the distribution lists of the broadsheets or in other lists (p. 81), resulting in extending the time period they cover (1923?-1928). His personal information regarding two of the names mentioned is also used.
