Poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ10). The title “C. P. Cavafy’s Poems (1905-1915)” on the cover and title page. Also on the title page, handwritten dedication by the poet to I. Karaolanis. Table of contents in two pages at the end. The collection contains forty poems, printed on papers of various qualities and with fonts of various sizes. The verso of all sheets is blank. The sheets are numbered sequentially (“2” to “46”) at top right of the recto, usually in print and occasionally by hand, corrected by Cavafy. Some of the poems and the table of contents were printed on broadsheets of the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1925-1930. Handwritten notes in pencil below some of the poems, not by Cavafy (the handwriting is perhaps that of Tellos Agras); they are bibliographical references to publications by Dimaras.
