Poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ5) comprising 77 poems from the period of 1915-1926. Paperboard folded in half used as front and back cover. Title “C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1915-1926” is printed on the front cover; the date is corrected in ink. The end date indication noted in ink, initially as “1922”, then corrected to “1926”. On the inside, the information of the front cover is repeated on the title page. The end date indication is noted in ink, “1922”. Cavafy’s written dedication to N. Zelita in ink on recto of the second leaf. Next are printed broadsheets with the poems, numbered on the top right on recto (page 46 is missing). The page numbers are printed and in some pages corrected in ink. Handwritten note “(400 A.D.)” in ink next to the title of the poem “Young Men of Sidon”. P. 50 spelling error correction on the publication date in ink. P. 50-52 date indication “1929” struck through in ink. P. 55 second erasure of the word “μελαγχολικές” (“melancholic”) to “ανιαρές” (“dull”) in ink. All broadsheets are printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house during the period of 1919-1926. Poems are followed by a blank leaf and a printed table of contents with chronological order in two columns. 3 poems are added to the table in ink.
