15.5 x 9.5 cm; 726 s.p. + 824 s.p. + 1 insert, attached paper crest of the Cavafy family “For Christ and Caesar” on verso of the front cover, signature by Alexandros P. Cavafy in black ink accompanied by a note about the year and “1/6” marked with pencil, p. [1] bookplate CPC, p. [3] title page and typographic ornament, p. [5] table of contents titled “The names and order of all the books of the New Testament, with the number of their chapters”. Newspaper clipping inserted between p. [442]-[443] mentioning the awarding of a medal to Peter I. Cavafy. After p. [726] the title page of New Testament is inserted with typographic ornament, signature of Alexandros P. Cavafy in black ink on p. [824]. Attached binding label “Watkins Binder” on recto of the back cover. Maps are found on several places of the text.
